This beautifully designed 650 sq ft studio cottage has an alcove bedroom with closet space and a ceiling fan. The living room has a large L-shaped couch, ceiling fan, flat-screen TV with Roku, Gray Malin artwork, and a bistro table and chairs for two. Enjoy high-end Anthropologie and Crate & Barrel furnishings along with local wood pieces. Custom cabinetry, Watermark fixtures, and quartz countertops are featured in the wet bar/kitchen area. It comes stocked with basic necessities as well as a purified water faucet. The bathroom has matching bronze fixtures, along with drawer storage and open shelving. A rain shower awaits, along with a convenient shower bench. Open the bathroom windows for a view of the palms and sunshine.
The garage comes with one indoor parking spot and one outdoor driveway spot. It also has a washer and dryer. In the garage, you’ll find kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards, rafts, beach games, and beach chairs. Just let us know what you’d like to use and we’ll get you all set. Lanikai Park is across the street if you fancy a game of basketball.
Enjoy incredible sunrise walks, where you’ll be among the Lanikai locals and their cute beach pups. The Lanikai loop is one of the best places to take a walk on the island if you need a break from the sand. Evenings are a special time in the neighborhood as it becomes quite tranquil. You can enjoy moonlight strolls where you’ll often be the only soul on the starlit beach. The cottage is minutes away from the Lanikai Pillbox hike where you can get incredible views of The Mokulua Islands. Down the road are Buzz’s Steakhouse, Kalapawai Market, and Kailua Beach. It’s just a quick 5-10 minute drive into Kailua town where you’ll find restaurants, Whole Foods, Target, the farmer’s market, and boutiques.
This Lanikai Beach cottage is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a solo traveler who is lucky enough to work remotely. All you need to bring is yourself and some slippers!

Due to the beauty of Lanikai Beach, it is usually at the top of everyone’s list. The cottage sits along a one-way road close to the park. This can lead to traffic and noise. Before sunrise, people will likely park in front of the house across the street before starting the Pillbox hike around the corner. Rental car alarms may occasionally go off. Noise can be greatly reduced with the windows closed and AC running. The noise dramatically decreases in the evening. Lanikai is truly a breathtaking place to visit and naturally that comes with a price.
The property is shared with us, your hosts, but is a separate building. We have our own separate garage structure and entrance up the hill. We may see each other if grabbing beach toys out at the same time, rinsing off in the outdoor shower, or grabbing the trash bins which are stored near the outdoor shower.
