Nestled on the Hamakua Coast, our camp boasts of animals, nature and adventure . Our chickens produce delicious eggs that you can enjoy for breakfast. We also produce coffee. Our hangout Pavilion is the perfect spot for guests to relax and read a book or get creative. Be prepared to wake up to roosters. We have an incredible waterfall nearby with swimming holes to cool off in. We offer outdoor showers and flushing toilets for our campers' convenience. Come and experience the magic of our farm!
The off-grid camping cabin has two rooms separated by a shared kitchen area.
Cabin rooms are screened. There is a full sized bed for 2. There is also an outhouse with a flushing toilet a few steps away.
Our outdoors hot shower is perfect for a nice relaxing shower in nature after a busy day hiking and exploring waterfalls.
The communal hangout pavilion has places to charge your devices and use wifi. There are couches to sit and relax and some art supplies are provided if someone wants to get creative. There are couches to relax in and solar lights to light up the hangout spot at night.
Most of our set up us is outdoors so smoking IS allowed on the property :)
Bring a hammock, hang it in a tree, read a book and relax right next to the cows. Perfect animal therapy during your stay.
There is a fire pit and plenty of wood on the property to make fire.
With minimum light pollution you gaze at the milky way in the sky while laying on our giant trampoline.
Please remember to bring your camping supplies since facilities at the campgrounds are minimal.
Suggested items to bring: Camping light, lighters, sleeping bags, our mattresses are covered with a fitted sheet but we expect campers to bring their own blankets, towels etc)
We rely on solar power so on rainy days there may not be any power or internet.
We are in the country side and off grid so internet can be patchy or not working sometimes. You must be ok without being without internet at times if you'd like to book a stay with us. We would hate to disappoint you and it's out of our control. Let's connect with nature instead :)
This is a mostly self service property. You must be able to arrive, locate your rentals and settle and explore by yourselves. We are around but very busy to personally welcome every guests. If there is any trouble of course we will be here to help :)
Guests will have access to our 5 acres homestead, outdoors shower, flushing toilet and the communal hangout pavilion.

Papa'aloa is a beautfiul & quiet town only 30 minutes outside of Hilo. There are a lot of tourists attractions nearby including the Big Island waterfall zipline, 2 botanical gardens & the famous Akaka Falls. Papa'aloa Country Store in only 5 minutes walk away, where you can enjoy a nice meal, live music or drinks at the bar. It is absolutely family friendly too.
