Summary: Generally, the listing is accurate and what you see is what you’ll get. The beds are soft, but comfortable, and you will have everything you need in the well-stocked kitchen. The large open spaces are great for congregating and generally the house is very welcoming. While we didn’t use the pool, on a longer stay, I could see this area as an attractive space. As welcoming as the house was upon arrival, the host manual (which we struggled to locate) was just the opposite. It was basically a list of fines that would be leveed upon us for any mistake we made. (Lose the TV remote? $100! Unauthorized guest? $500!) We were instructed not to make any noise after 10pm, which made something as simple as enjoying a drink outside in the cool evening weather impossible. We weren’t allowed to entertain guests. Upon departure, we were instructed to load bath towels and start the washer, which is fine. But the fact that the towels were being “quick-washed” had us second-guessing the cleanliness of bedding and linens. My biggest complaint is with the lack of communication from the host. We couldn’t find the host manual, which contained needed WiFi information and it took a very long time to get any response. Even then, the response was often incomplete and required follow-up communication and more waiting. In the end, this was a very expensive VRBO with an excessive number of rules and slow/limited communication from the host. I personally would not stay here again.
