THE MAALAEA SURF RESORT is an exceptional beach front resort, and is widely considered to be the nicest condo resort in all of Kihei. It is very spacious with only 59 luxury apartments set on 5 acres of beautiful tropical landscaping. The 200 yards of white sand beach in front of the resort is wonderful for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, SUP, and all other water sports. Every condo on this spacious property is oceanfront or ocean view. Free amenities include parking, eight barbeques, two tennis courts, two shuffle board courts, and two swimming pools. Cleaning and weekly maid service is a big plus and are also included in the rental price.
OUR APARTMENT is a townhouse, located on the second floor which provides a bit of added privacy and a wonderful, wide open, unobstructed ocean view, with spectacular nightly sunsets, and even whale sightings in season. Our condo unit is very spacious at 1,261 sq. ft. including a large lanai 20 ft long by 8 ft wide. Our large master bedroom features a king bed and ensuite bath. Our second bedroom features two twin beds. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Our unit has been extensively remodeled and upgraded. The kitchen has been completely redone with new cabinets, stainless appliances and granite counters. In 2019, both bathrooms were remodeled with modern tile, frameless glass enclosures and beautiful granite counters. We also replaced and upgraded all our living and dining room furniture, plus all the outdoor furniture on our lanai as well. Our condo unit is well stocked in every way. You will find plenty of extra towels including beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach mats, coolers, and much more.
OUR AMENITIES INCLUDE central A/C, paddle fans in both bedrooms and living room, 48 inch flatscreen with cable and HD with a second flatscreen tv in the master bedroom, free local calls, in-building washer and dryer , free internet (wifi), 8 gas barbecues, 2 pools, 2 tennis courts, and 2 shuffle board courts.
OUR CENTRAL LOCATION IS IDEAL. Just a block away is a convenience, store, bakery, shave ice store, a boutique, and a farmers market. The Kihei Canoe Club is also just a block away and you will see their colorful racing canoes out practicing almost every morning. We are only 10 minutes to shopping in Kahului or Kihei, 15 minutes to Wailea, and 35 minutes to Lahaina.
