Aloha! This is a premium oceanfront center studio unit. This is an ideal family getaway and just in time for whale season. The units are very well equipped.
The units have a king-sized Westin Heavenly bed and a sofa sleeper in the living room area. There is a kitchenette with a small dishwasher, sink, two-burner cooktop and convection microwave. We have had no problem using the kitchen during our stays because it has everything we need. There is also a washer/dryer in the unit.
The Westin Heavenly Bath consists of a Jacuzzi jetted tub, a nice big sink area and a separate toilet and separate shower. This is the best equipped studio unit you will ever see on Maui. The pictures say it all.
There is a wonderful restaurant onsite and a gorgeous pool area. The lanai faces the ocean directly.
You can pool hop to the Westin North and Westin Nanea properties, all within an easy walk. This is a bustling area, lots of activity, and it's a fairly easy walk to Black Rock and to the Whaler's Village with several great shops and restaurants, including Monkeypod Kitchen, Leilani's Beach Grill and Kula Grill.
There is a free shuttle to take you to Whaler's Village as well, which is a nice benefit to staying at thie luxury resort. You can also take the shuttle to the Cannery Mall to shop at Safeway.
Parking is free. You will pay a TAT of about $25 per day. This TAT changes each time we go, but you can expect a range of about $20-30 per day for the studio. This will be charged by the resort.
