- This property is 100% off-grid and powered by solar energy, supported by high-capacity batteries. As part of the eco-friendly design, the home is solar dependent. On sunny days, the A/C units typically turn on around 9:00 AM in the summer and 10:00 AM in the winter. They usually turn off around 7:00 PM in the summer and 5:30 PM in the winter. The A/C units will automatically power on once the battery charge reaches a certain level in the morning, as long as the remotes are left in the 'on' position. In the evening, when battery levels drop below a set threshold, the units will shut off automatically to preserve power for nighttime use. Each A/C unit is temperature adjustable via remote, but the system controls when they turn on and off based on solar performance. If a guest turns an A/C unit off using the remote, it will not run again until manually turned back on
- Guests are advised to limit hot tub use to 30 to 45 minutes, especially on sunny days. The hot tub draws a significant amount of power, which can reduce battery reserves and delay the start of the A/C units the following morning. It is extremely important that guests manually turn off the hot tub after use. Failure to do so can drain the system overnight, affecting overall power availability
