This Hawaiian Plantation one bedroom style cottage is a cozy sought out place to stay. We are not far from the town of Hilo and we are about a 45 drive away from the Volcano National park. The air quality is excellent here on the Hamakua coast.
* We are taking sound measures to ensure that the cottage is disinfected and thoroughly cleaned in regards to the coronavirus :using the warmest appropriate temperature for laundry. U:sing disinfectants registered from the EPA list against coronavirus: Clorox multi surface cleaner and Clorox wipes. We are monitoring updates daily.
The main bedroom has been updated to a new comfy King sized bed. There is a newly covered lanai that leads out from the bedroom. On the lanai are two comfy chairs with foot stools, a barbecue grill and a table with four chars. A wonderful new addition for your comfort of outdoor dinner and lounging.
In the mini sitting room adjacent to the main bedroom is a rattan couch for sitting . There is a flat screen smart TV with remote for your entertainment.
In the kitchen area we offer seating for four at the kitchen table with a view of the pasture and ocean.
Up in the loft is a full sized bed. There is a steep ladder to get up to the loft, and not recommended for younger children. Cute and cozy however , and young teens especially love the extra space.
The bathroom has a walk in shower with hand rails. Washer and Dryer are also located in the bathroom with toilet and sink. The bathroom door leads to the outside, and into the kitchen area. Cotton towels and hanging robes for your comfort.
Located less than 10 minutes from Historic Downtown Hilo ,and the renowned Farmers Market: check it out on Wednesdays and Saturdays for the full experience.
Wake up to the panoramic ocean views of the early morning sunrise while sipping on fresh local brewed coffee or tea while lounging on the porch swing. Your wake up call will be by one of nature's finest, a local rooster, or two. Country living at its best.
Surrounded by 20 acres of lush pasture land, you will see several horses, and sheep a few cows grazing contentedly, sometimes right outside your bedroom window.
We also have little dogs that will meet and greet you : Zippy and Spud. And you may be greeted by our lounging fluffy cat named Harrison.
A beautiful salt water swimming pool with an infinity edge is available for your use during your stay. The swimming pool is located in front of our main home, just a stone throw away. Don't forget the hot tub!
Take time for yourself and enjoy the beauty that the Hamakua coast has to offer. You will be renewed with a longing to return again and again...
