As you enter our property, you will park on your own private driveway. Follow the outdoor string lights along the pathway to our backyard Treehouse. Walk up the hand crafted staircase to a vintage front door. Enter the 4-digit number on the smart keypad that we will provide for you prior to your arrival.
Inside you will find a queen bed, electric fireplace, 100 year old cabinet (includes: 2 coffee cups, 2 plates, utensils (2 each- plastic fork, knife and spoon) Keurig coffee/hot water maker, k-cups, tea, cream, sugar and mini-fridge), vintage reading chair, a handmade bench with board games inside, AC & heating unit and a smart TV. Wifi is available. Enjoy sitting on the porch in rocking chairs looking out into our backyard meadow. We will provide guests with 2 robes, hand towels, face/body soap and 2 bottles of water.
The outhouse is attached to the treehouse just a couple of steps away. This includes a composting toilet and sink with water to wash hands/brush teeth. The toilet may not be a type you have ever used before - it's a composting toilet which requires that you spray vinegar and throw used toilet paper in the bowl after use (all other paper waste products should go in basket).
We do offer our finished basement shower for those who need it. It is 30 steps away from the treehouse.
We have a bed swing underneath the treehouse with string lights, a table and two outdoor fans. We recently put a gas fire pit as well.
