Positive: The location is unbeatable, private and secluded on it's own little strip of land where you can see the bay and the ocean while standing on the roof deck. The ocean view was wonderful and we enjoyed access to the private beach which we explored on the kayaks provided. The outdoor kitchen spaces were great though missing a few important things, like a knife that could cut anything at all! There were also very few plates, bowls, cups etc. We made it work but we had to be creative and bought our own knives at the grocery store. In the end we loved the outdoor kitchen space and made and ate dinner outside every night. The room was comfy, very clean and just big enough for the two of us. The bed was nice and not too soft or too firm and the large walk in shower was delightful. The only complaint regarding the shower is that there was an RV parked right under the window so we had to have the blinds down and couldn't enjoy the view while using it. There was a small fridge located in an odd little corner of the bathroom but it gave us just enough food storage space. We were provided with beach towels and bath towels and there was snorkel gear available, though we didn't make use of it. The stay was so calming and quiet and we would certainly come back again.

Negative: The entrance to the rooms was confusing. The ocean view room is accessed through the common space in the main building. The door to our private space was frosted glass meaning that the light leaked in from the common space when other guests came and went. There were no controllers for the fans and overhead lighting in the common space so you either had the common space in total darkness or so brightly lit it flooded through the frosted glass door to our private space. A blind on the inside of the private room doors would be an easy fix to this issue. Also, a controller to adjust the common space fans and overhead lights would be so helpful. The balconies are both accesible from the shared space and the roofdeck had no furniture on it all. You could acces the roofdeck but there was nothing to sit on once you were up there. We didn't use the bikes as they looked quite rusty and adjusting the seats wasn't possible. As one of us is 6ft 6in, not being able to adjust the seat meant there were no bikes he could ride.
